Legendary Anti-Game Phenomenon Big Rigs Now on Steam at a Discount
- AYG -The infamous racing simulator Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, often called one of the worst video games of all time, has been released on Steam. The game, originally released in 2005, is being given away at a discount until April 22, attracting the attention of both nostalgic gamers and those who want to see the gaming joke for themselves.
The essence of Big Rigs is extremely simple: the gamer needs to drive a truck, competing with an opponent in a race to the finish line. There are four trucks and five tracks, but even such modest amounts of content at the time of release were accompanied by a critical level of technical flaws. Despite this, the game has already received 84% positive reviews on Steam, which is probably due to the ironic approach of the audience and its cult status on the network.

The project was developed by Stellar Stone, and the publisher was GameMill Publishing. Big Rigs managed to score a ridiculous 8 out of 100 on Metacritic and 1 out of 10 from GameSpot. GamesRadar included it in the list of the worst games in history, putting it in first place, and The Guardian also called it one of the most unsuccessful in the industry.

The game was criticized for the terrible quality of graphics, numerous bugs, almost complete lack of artificial intelligence in the opponent, as well as for the unfulfilled promises of the developers.
