According to insider Majin Bu, Apple is planning to radically redesign the cooling system for the future iPhone 17 Pro, abandoning the usual graphite plates in favor of a more efficient technology. The published photo allegedly shows a copper base of the evaporation chamber with microchannels, which will be able to cool not only the A19 Pro processor, but also neighboring components.

The size of the cooling plate indicates a large-scale approach by Apple to solving the overheating problem that engineering samples of the smartphone faced. According to the source, the A19 Pro demonstrates increased heat generation not only in games, but also when working with neural network functions. To improve heat dissipation, the company may use the camera module area, as well as use an aluminum case, which dissipates heat better.

If the rumors are confirmed, this will be a noticeable departure for Apple from traditional solutions in favor of technologies that have long been used in Android smartphones.
