Insiders: New Indiana Jones Games Are Already in Development
- AYG -The recently released adventure game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from Microsoft and Bethesda Softworks, developed by MachineGames, has proven to be so successful that the publishers have already given the green light for its sequels, according to rumors.
Journalist Daniel Richtman reported that new projects in the Indiana Jones universe are already in development. However, it is still unclear which studios are responsible for producing these projects and at what stage they are. The insider’s words were confirmed by Windows Central editor Jez Corden, which adds weight to the information.
The Great Circle action game received rave reviews from critics, many of whom called it a worthy successor to Steven Spielberg’s cult film trilogy. Players also greeted the game with enthusiasm, although some of the audience is concerned about its possible financial failure: the release took place without Denuvo anti-piracy protection, and the game immediately became available in the Game Pass subscription, which could reduce its direct sales.
However, the high audience interest and critical success indicate that Indiana Jones has once again solidified its position as a franchise capable of delivering enjoyment to players and quality projects.
