Insider render shows iPhone 17 Pro design with smaller ‘island’

The next generation of iPhone may receive significant design changes, according to information published by the Chinese portal Mydrivers. Based on the latest rumors, insiders presented a render of the iPhone 17 Pro, demonstrating the alleged innovations.

Apple is expected to significantly reduce the size of the “island” for the front camera and Face ID system. At the same time, the functionality of the Dynamic Island will be preserved: the software expansion of the cutout will still allow you to display notifications and use it as a virtual key.

Among other possible changes, the transition to an aluminum back panel, complemented by a glass insert in the area of ​​​​the coil for wireless charging is called. Such a move may be associated with the company’s desire to reduce the cost of the device by abandoning the use of titanium.
