Insider: GTA 6 online mode will be available for separate purchase on release day

According to information from insider Tez2, the multiplayer mode of GTA 6 will be available for purchase separately on the day of release, which will be the first such case in the history of Rockstar Games. In addition, the release of a complete edition is expected, including both the story campaign and the online mode.

The exact prices are still unknown, but, according to the insider, the cost of the online version of the game will be included in the total price of GTA 6. Despite rumors about a possible price of $ 100, Take-Two Interactive is unlikely to set such a high price tag.

Earlier, unconfirmed data appeared that GTA 6 could be released on September 17, 2025, on the anniversary of the release of GTA 5. However, Rockstar officially announced only that the game will go on sale in the fall of 2025. At the start, it will be available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, and information about the PC version is still missing, although the developers have already hinted at its possible release.
