Infinity Ward Co-Founder Says Call of Duty Is Losing Creativity
- AYG -Chance Glasco, one of the founders of Infinity Ward, criticized the current state of the Call of Duty franchise, noting that its creators seem to have run out of fresh ideas. In an interview with News9, he shared his opinion that many of the decisions of recent years seem strange and clumsy, which may indicate a creative crisis within the team.

According to Glasco, the peak of the series came with the release of the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He considers it the most successful part of the entire line, and the further development of the franchise was accompanied by a series of successes and failures. Despite the reboot of the Modern Warfare trilogy and the release of three new games, the structure of the multiplayer mode has hardly changed – its framework was laid down in the first Modern Warfare and has only been slightly improved since then.
However, Glasco admitted to playing Warzone from time to time, considering the mode the most vibrant and interesting element of modern Call of Duty, despite the overall feeling of stagnation in the series.
