Horror game A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead was not liked by critics, but was loved by casual gamers

The game spin-off of the franchise “A Quiet Place” received mixed reviews.

On the Metacritic portal, the game A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead was able to get an average score of 68/100. It is noted that at the start of the plot there is a good atmosphere, but after a while the pace of the narrative sags, and the horror elements disappear. But, in general, this is a good addition to the cinematic universe.

In turn, players rated the title much better: on the same Metacritic, they have a solid score in the green zone – 80/100. Fans consider the spin-off of the film franchise successful, it has well-implemented game mechanics. The PC version of the game was subjected to the greatest criticism from users due to performance issues. Some also note a weak plot, but the gameplay compensates for this shortcoming.

The release of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead took place on October 17 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
