GTA 6 May Be More Expensive Than Building the World’s Tallest Building: Estimated Budget $2 Billion

Rockstar has released a second trailer for GTA VI, showing details of the relationship between the main characters Jason and Lucia. The video is longer than the first clip and reveals the romantic component of the plot, which will be new for the series. At the same time, the characters will retain the traditional criminal focus of the franchise – robberies, vehicle theft and confrontation with law enforcement and other criminals.

The trailer contains numerous references to previous games in the series, including the appearance of the character Phil, associated with Ammu-Nation – a chain of weapons stores known from Vice City. The trailer’s finale confirms the previously announced release date – May 26, 2026 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

The publication of the material followed the recent announcement of the release being postponed from 2025 to 2026, which caused a mixed reaction from the community.
