Google has hidden a new arcade game in its search engine — you can play it right in your browser

Google continues to delight users with hidden Easter eggs, and this time the company has added a new mini-game to the search engine. Now, by entering the query Block Breaker, you can launch an arcade in the style of the cult Arkanoid.

The game is available right in the browser window – just click the Play button that appears in the search results. The controls are classic: the platform is moved by arrows left and right, and the ball is launched by pressing the up arrow. As the game progresses, various bonuses fall out of the destroyed blocks, which can both help and complicate the passage.

On smartphones, the controls are changed to swipes on the screen.

Google did not specify how long the game will be available, but other arcade games such as Pac-Man and Snake remain in the search engine.
