GamesVoice Announces Crowdfunding for Russian Radio Voiceover in GTA: San Andreas
- AYG -The localization team, which successfully completed the collection of 1.2 million rubles for the translation of the story part of GTA: San Andreas, has now taken on the voice acting of radio stations in the cult game.
The new stage of the project requires 900 thousand rubles – almost twice as much as was spent on the full localization of GTA: Vice City (500 thousand), which also went over budget and took several years.

The peculiarity of San Andreas is the huge amount of content: in addition to the main missions, the game contains dozens of hours of radio broadcasts that require professional adaptation. GamesVoice plans to release the Russian version in a year and a half, but warns that in case of complications, the work may drag on for up to three years. Previously, the studio successfully localized Vice City, proving its ability to work with the classics of the genre.
