First gameplay trailer for Mafia: The Old Country reveals atmosphere in Sicilian mafia circles

The developers presented the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming new crime franchise titled The Old Country, demonstrating key elements of the gameplay. The video shows the picturesque locations of Sicily in the early 20th century, where the story of young Enzo unfolds, beginning his journey in the criminal world under the guidance of Don Torrisi.

The video focuses on the series’ signature elements – dynamic shootouts, intense car chases and an atmospheric recreation of the era. The title is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5, which will ensure a high-quality level of visuals. The official release of the game is scheduled for August 8, 2024 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
