Fans Almost Complete GTA Vice City Remake on GTA 4 Engine

The Revolution Team modding team has released a story trailer for the GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition game, demonstrating the iconic action game on the GTA 4 engine. The authors stated that the work on the mod is 95% complete, and its release is scheduled for the end of the year. However, if necessary, the team can postpone the release to January.

The project will recreate the original atmosphere of Vice City and complement it with improvements. The game will feature previously cut scenes, revised content, as well as graphic and technical updates that correspond to the capabilities of the modern engine.

The original GTA Vice City was released in 2002 and became one of the most iconic parts of the franchise. In 2021, Rockstar Games presented a remaster of the game as part of the GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition collection, using the Unreal Engine 4.
