Fallout series reaches 100 million viewers

The show from the Prime Video streaming service was released six months ago. The number of viewers is impressive, but it did not help it get ahead of another series on the service.

The Fallout series is based on the famous game series. The first season was released on Prime Video in April 2024. As of September, the show was watched by 100 million users, and in the first month after the release, it collected an audience of 65 million viewers, which made it the 2nd most popular series project on streaming.

However, such numbers did not allow the series to surpass the indicators of the 2nd season of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. The continuation of the series based on the Tolkien universe was released in September, and less than two months later it collected an audience of the same 100 million viewers. And this is despite the cool reception from critics and viewers.

In turn, Fallout scored 94% and 90% positive reviews from critics and ordinary viewers on the Rotten Tomatoes portal. The series has already been renewed for a second season. He also received 16 nominations and 3 awards at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.
