Electronic Arts to officially announce new Battlefield this summer

According to EA’s latest financial report, the company is preparing for a summer reveal of the next installment of the Battlefield franchise, but the official title remains unknown. Although the game is scheduled to be released before March 2026, the first detailed information about the project will become available in the coming months.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that, along with the new installment, the company’s important release will be the revived skate series, which is expected to be released before April 2026. The shooter is being developed by a consortium of studios, including DICE, Motive Studio, Ripple Effect and Criterion, with a special emphasis on an improved system of environmental destructibility.

The developers are currently expanding the testing program, inviting players to participate in the evaluation of the project through the official Electronic Arts website. This approach demonstrates the company’s desire for closer interaction with the community at the game creation stage.
