EA Teases The Sims and The Sims 2 Remasters Coming Soon

The company is preparing a surprise for fans of The Sims: the studio is working on re-releases of the first two parts of the cult franchise. The project is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the series, and, as confirmed by Kotaku, the updated collection may be released in the coming days.

In the teaser released by EA, viewers saw the activation of the “time travel” mode, after which the emerald crystal, the symbol of the game, acquired a deep dark green shade, characteristic of the original part. Following this, the company updated its profile on the social network X, hinting at the upcoming announcement.

According to sources, the collection will include the first two games and all their add-ons, offering fans the opportunity to once again immerse themselves in the classic life simulator in an updated format.

Interestingly, EA previously announced the cancellation of The Sims 5, deciding to focus on supporting the fourth part. Instead of releasing a new numbered game, the studio plans to expand the current project and please fans with a return to the origins of the series through these re-releases.

The release of the collection is expected before the end of the month.
