EA Teases Star Wars: Zero Company, a Tactical Game Set in the Star Wars Universe

EA has presented the debut official art of the new game in the Star Wars universe — Star Wars: Zero Company. The title is being created by Bit Reactor studio together with Respawn Entertainment and will be a single-player tactical strategy with a turn-based combat system in the style of XCOM.

A full presentation of the project will take place on April 19 at the Star Wars Celebration 2025 event, which will be held in Japan. So far, little is known about the project, but the very fact of its appearance has aroused the interest of fans of the genre.

The upcoming strategy will be the first title from Bit Reactor, a young studio founded in 2022 by veterans of Friaxis Games. One of the key participants in the production is Greg Furtsch, who previously held the post of creative director of the XCOM franchise. Judging by the first image, the visual style will be dark and stylistically close to military science fiction.

So far, EA has not revealed either the release date or the list of platforms the game will be released on.
