Dune: Awakening Release Delayed by Several Weeks
- AYG -Funcom developers have decided to move the release date of MMORPG Dune: Awakening from May 20 to June 10. The studio needed an additional three weeks to finalize the game based on feedback from beta testers.
Currently, a large-scale preliminary beta test is underway, with hundreds of journalists and content creators participating. Their first impressions of the game will be available on April 25.
The development team is actively interacting with testers via Discord, discussing possible improvements. As a result of this communication, it became clear that an additional three weeks of work will allow them to make important changes that will improve the quality of the game by release.

Early access to Dune: Awakening will begin on June 5, and the full launch will take place on June 10. The developers emphasize that the decision to postpone was not spontaneous — it is aimed at ensuring that players receive a more polished product from day one.
Funcom will be holding another global beta test before the release, opening access to a larger number of gamers. This will allow them to test the changes under stressful conditions.
Dune: Awakening will initially be released on PC, with console versions coming later.
