Death Stranding has surpassed 20 million players

When Hideo Kojima presented Death Stranding, many believed that the project with an emphasis on cargo delivery in a post-apocalyptic world would be a niche entertainment. However, time has shown the opposite – the game has already attracted more than 20 million users.

The game designer talked about the impressive achievement on social networks, but did not specify how many players actually reached the end of the story. The statistics take into account users of all platforms, including consoles, PCs, subscription services, and even cloud gaming Amazon Luna.

Meanwhile, Kojima Productions is finishing work on the sequel – Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The release of the sequel is scheduled for June 26 exclusively for PS5.
