Death Stranding Expands Its Universe: Anime Adaptation Is in the Works

In an interview with Vogue Japan, Hideo Kojima revealed plans for the development of the Death Stranding universe, confirming work on an anime adaptation of the cult game. The creator emphasized his desire to use the full range of cinematic possibilities, expressing an ambitious goal to win recognition at prestigious film festivals, including Cannes and Venice.

In parallel with the anime project, the details of which have not yet been revealed, the development of a full-length film by A24 continues under the direction of director Michael Sarnoski, known for the horror film A Quiet Place: Day One. The exact release dates for the anime adaptation are still unknown.
