Cyberpunk 2077 franchise to feature new anime

The project will be developed by the streaming service Netflix and the studio CD Projekt RED, responsible for the game.

Apparently, the project will not be the second season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. It is also unknown in what format it will be released – as a full-length film or a series.

The debut film adaptation of the popular action RPG in a futuristic setting Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was released in 2022. The anime series received high marks from critics and ordinary viewers: on the Rotten Tomatoes portal, it has 100% and 95% positive reviews, respectively.
