Cuphead developers have started recruiting for a new unannounced project
- AYG -Studio MDHR, the creators of the cult platformer Cuphead, has announced a search for a senior programmer to work on a new title. The job posting states that the employee will be working remotely without bureaucratic burden, but the details remain unknown.

The team’s last major release was the DLC The Delicious Last Course for Cuphead, which was released in 2022. The original game, inspired by the classic 1930s cartoon, was released in 2017 on PC and Xbox One, and was later ported to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The success of the project led to the creation of an animated series on Netflix.
The job posting indicates that the studio has moved to an active phase of developing a new project after a two-year break. Whether the future game will retain Cuphead’s signature visual style or present a completely new concept remains a mystery for fans of Studio MDHR’s work.
