Chicken in the Hall: A Fan of “A Minecraft Movie” Came to a Screening with a Live Bird. The Police Had to Be Called
- AYG -The excitement around the movie “A Minecraft Movie” has reached a truly absurd level. At one of the recent screenings, a teenager brought a live chicken with him – inspired by the scene where a zombie child in the game rides on this pet. The extravagant act ended with the intervention of law enforcement.
The film, despite restrained reviews from critics and moderate ratings from viewers (6/10), became a real phenomenon: after two weekends of distribution, it collected more than 550 million dollars. However, not all viewers limit themselves to simply watching. Screenings are increasingly turning into spontaneous shows: children argue with their parents about the lore, adults applaud the scenes, and teenagers throw outbursts of emotion – up to throwing popcorn.

The episode with riding a chicken caused a particularly violent reaction – and one viewer decided to recreate it in reality. Unfortunately, this “immersion into the atmosphere” turned out to be too noisy: the behavior of the group of teenagers was disruptive, which forced the cinema administration to call the police. The group, including the chicken, was removed from the show.
The film with Jason Momoa and Jack Black continues to confidently go through the world box office, and despite the ambiguous reception, its popularity in the halls is only growing – albeit with very unexpected consequences.
