CD Projekt RED has unveiled new The Witcher IV art dedicated to the New Year holidays. Fans are once again arguing about Ciri’s appearance

CD Projekt RED has once again attracted the attention of fans by publishing holiday art for The Witcher IV, which depicts Ciri. This gesture has caused heated discussions: the community is arguing about how much the heroine has retained her appearance from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. If in the recent trailer her appearance seemed changed to many, then in the new image she looks almost the same as in the third part.

And although the New Year’s art attracted attention to the game, it became a reason for new disputes on the Internet. Some players appreciated that Ciri retained recognizable features, while others were dissatisfied, pointing out the overall quality of the materials and reproaching the developers for trying to please everyone. Even the studio’s Christmas greetings caused criticism: some users considered it too neutral and “succumbing to modern trends”.
