Bloomberg: GTA 6 to Cut Back on Jokes About Minorities, Other Game Developers Await Release Date

According to journalist Jason Schreier from Bloomberg, the new part of Grand Theft Auto will have less satirical humor aimed at ridiculing various minorities. Rockstar Games management instructed the writers to refrain from using such jokes, despite the fact that in previous games of the franchise there were no such restrictions. Schreier did not reveal details about the reasons for the change in approach.

In addition, the uncertainty with the release of the title affects the plans of other gaming companies. Many publishers are postponing the announcement of the release dates of their projects, waiting for an official announcement from Rockstar.
