Bethesda Veteran Leaves Studio After 26 Years to Brew Beer
- AYG -Bethesda VP of Development Todd Vaughan has left his 26-year career at the company to pursue a career in brewing. Vaughan, who joined the studio in 1998, was a key contributor to iconic titles including The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

During his time at Bethesda, Vaughan contributed to games such as Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and DOOM: Eternal. His departure follows a trend in recent years, with several veterans of Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Starfield leaving the studio.
The veteran developer’s decision to switch from gaming to brewing came as a surprise to many. Vaughan did not comment on the reasons for his departure, leaving fans to wonder what prompted him to make this choice on the eve of The Elder Scrolls 6.
