Battlefield 6 Coming Before March 2026 With Announcement This Summer

Electronic Arts has confirmed plans to release a new part of Battlefield by the end of March 2026, as announced by CEO Andrew Wilson during the presentation of the quarterly report. The exact release date in the fall of 2025 has not yet been confirmed, which may be due to the desire to avoid competition with Grand Theft Auto VI, which was postponed to May 2026, and other major projects.

The official announcement of Battlefield 6 is scheduled for the summer of 2024, although the format of the presentation has not yet been determined – participation in the PlayStation or Xbox show is possible. The game is being developed by four studios: DICE, Criterion Games, EA Motive and Ripple Effect, with the support of specialists from BioWare.

According to available information, the project will return to a modern setting with support for 64 players on the map and an improved destruction system. The story campaign, according to insiders, will be dedicated to a military conflict between a private army and NATO forces in the late 2020s. The company positions the upcoming announcement as an important step in implementing the strategy of creating large-scale entertainment projects of the new generation.
