The assets were discovered in pre-alpha files from BF Labs, indicating their preliminary nature. The images likely show locations including a destroyed Fort Lyndon and a coastal town evacuated due to toxic contamination after a massive explosion.



The mode is being developed by Ripple Effect Studios (formerly DICE L.A.), the studio behind the popular Portal mode for Battlefield 2042. temporyal has previously revealed gameplay details, including the mission system, character classes, and respawn mechanics. The leaks are complemented by a leaked fragment of gameplay with a tank battle, demonstrating the dynamics of the upcoming game.
According to EA, the release of Battlefield 6 is expected before the end of March 2026, although there are rumors about a possible release in the fall of 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The company plans to hold an official announcement of the project before the end of the summer. It is also known that the game’s story campaign was created under the influence of such projects as the film “Civil War” and the series “Special Forces: Lioness”, which may indicate its large-scale and dramatic nature.
