Bandai Namco Reveals Tekken 8 Sales, Releases Anna Williams Trailer

The studio has released a new gameplay trailer for Tekken 8, which focuses on Anna Williams. The character will become available to players on April 3, and owners of the Character Year 2 Pass will be able to try her out earlier, on March 31.

The developers also shared plans for the development of Tekken 8. In the summer, the game will add a DLC character and a new arena, in the fall – another fighter, and in the winter – a new character and location. Details about the upcoming updates are promised to be revealed later.

In addition, Bandai Namco reported that sales of Tekken 8 have already exceeded three million copies. The game reached this milestone faster than Tekken 7, whose total circulation exceeded 12 million copies in ten years.

Tekken 8 was released in January last year and received mostly positive reviews on Steam – at the time of publication, the game’s rating is 70%.
