Apple is preparing a frameless iPhone with a screen curved on all sides by 2027

For the twentieth anniversary of the iPhone, Apple is preparing radical changes in the design of its flagship. According to South Korean sources, the company plans to release a model with a completely frameless screen that will bend not only on the sides, but also on the top and bottom edges of the case. This should create the effect of a glass device without visible frames – something that was previously considered only a concept.

To implement such a solution, Apple will have to overcome many technological difficulties, including the need to hide the front sensors, speakers and cameras under the screen, without violating the aesthetics and functionality. At the same time, by 2026, as The Information suggests, Apple will implement the under-screen Face ID system in the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max models, leaving only a tiny hole for the front camera in one of the corners.

All these steps indicate a large-scale design transformation that the company is striving for in honor of the round date since the release of the first iPhone.
