An anime series based on the Splinter Cell stealth action series is coming

The project is being developed by the streaming service Netflix and the studio Ubisoft, responsible for the franchise.

The Splinter Cell: Deathmatch series will tell about the main character of the series, Sam Fisher, but he will be much older than in the games. The voice of the operative will be given by actor Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan).

The announcement of the animated series took place in 2020. Derek Kolstad, who worked on the John Wick franchise, is responsible for the script for the project.

The release will happen very soon, as stated in the teaser. There are no other details about the series yet.
