Alleged renders of the new Nintendo Switch 2 console have appeared online

Dbrand, a company known for producing accessories, unexpectedly posted images of the device on its website. According to its head Adam Ijaz, the company’s employees already know the exact dimensions of the console, which are 270 x 116 x 14 mm. This makes the new product noticeably larger than the current Switch OLED model, the dimensions of which are 242 x 102 x 13.9 mm.

According to Dbrand, the Nintendo Switch 2 will retain support for Joy-Con controllers, but now they will be attached to the case using magnets, and the detachment key will be located on the back of the device.

The device’s display has a diagonal of 8 inches, which increases its area compared to previous models.

Dbrand is already preparing to release accessories for the Nintendo Switch 2, including a protective case, which will go on sale in late March or early April 2025. However, the exact release date of the console itself remains unknown, and even Dbrand representatives admit that they do not have such information.
