Alien: Isolation Sequel Now in Development

The original game turned 10 years old, and in honor of this, a small announcement of the second part took place.

Alien: Isolation creative director Al Hope addressed the fans on the occasion of the significant date. He expressed gratitude for the support of the 2014 hit. At the end of the message, he made an announcement of the sequel. Hope did not specify the details, they should appear later.

A number of users suggested that the announcement was made due to the success of the recently released film Alien: Romulus, but this is not so. A former employee of Creative Assembly, the studio responsible for the original, said that the project went into development long before the premiere of the film, and the start of production was postponed for various reasons.

Alien: Isolation was released in 2014. The events of the game unfold between the first two films of the Alien and Aliens franchise. The main character of the story is Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Ellen Ripley. The horror was liked by players due to its high-quality graphics, retrofuturistic design and artificial intelligence of the xenomorph. Among the disadvantages noted by critics, it is worth noting the lengthy timing.
